Aleppo:

Unknown gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on a Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s headquarters in Tell Bajir, south of Aleppo. Two elements of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham were killed and three wounded in the encounter.

Idlib:

Unknown gunmen threw a grenade at a police station belonging to the Syrian Salvation Government in the city of Sarmada. Two policemen were reportedly wounded in the incident.

Turkish Armed Forces’ convoy entered Syria through Kafr Lusin and headed towards Al-Sarman east of Maarat al-Numaan, in order to strengthen an observation point in the area. Turkish Armed Forces operate an observation point near Al-Sarman silos.

Damascus:

Syrian Arab Army and allies are now in complete control of Al-Hajar al-Aswad and Al-Yarmouk camp in southern Damascus, after Islamic State’s elements and their families were evacuated from the aforementioned localities. The evacuation was conducted in two batches, with families of the fighters, around 200 of them going towards Idlib, while the fighters were evacuated to desertous area between Homs and Deir al-Zour governorates. Several reports claimed that between 800 and 1000 fighters were evacuated, while others reported that around 190 fighters were evacuated. Reports also surfaced about Syrian Arab Army’s elements looting localities in Al-Yarmouk camp after the evacuation. General Command of the Syrian Arab Armed Forces officially announced full control over Al-Hajar al-Aswad and Al-Yarmouk camp. After these events, the Syrian Arab Army and allies are in complete control of the city of Damascus, as well as Damascus governorate.

Afghanistan

Kunduz Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two and wounded one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban), as well as found and defused eight improvised explosive devices in Qalay-I-Zal district.

Takhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six and wounded seven elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Khwaja Ghar district.

Nangarhar Province:

Two Islamic State’s improvised explosive device targeted a polling center in Khio area, reportedly killing one and wounding three elements of the ‘National Directorate of Security’.

Badghis Province:

Residents of Jabir Naj area in Qadis district pledged their allegiance to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The aforementioned area contains more than 5000 families.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Army’s checkpoint in Ghormach district. Five elements of the Afghan National Army were killed and five wounded in the encounter, while the remaining elements withdrew from the checkpoint. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized an RPG launcher, a PK machine gun, and an assault rifle from the checkpoint.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed and killed Afghan National Army’s commander, Abdurrahim Sailab in Khair Gosht area of Jawand district.

Herat Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked an Afghan National Army’s convoy in Boryabaf area of Pashtun Zarghun district. One element of the Afghan National Army was killed, three wounded, and an armored vehicle destroyed in the encounter.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed four and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Rashidan district.

Paktika Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 12 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a vehicle and a motorcycle in the province.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, including commander Mullah Muhammad Dean in Pusht Rod district.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 24 and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed four bases and several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Chora and Khas Urozgan districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense. One of the 24 killed elements was Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s commander, Haji Hafez.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed nine elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a vehicle and four motorcycles in Nad Ali, Nahri Saraj, and Musa Qala districts.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Police’s checkpoints in Abdul Lolo area of Garmsir district, killing eight policemen in the process.

Several Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive devices destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored vehicle and four armored personnel carriers in Haidar Abad Dokano area of Jerashk district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers killed 12 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces in Nad Ali and Nawa-I-Barakzayi districts.

Kandahar Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed and killed an important figure of the ‘National Directorate of Security’, Muhammad Dawod in Sang Hamam area of the 14th Police District in the city of Kandahar.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now two strikes reports will be published each week, on Mondays and Fridays.
