Syrian Salvation Government’s Al-Katibat al-Amniyah (Security Battalion) arrested Ibrahim al-Yousuf, teacher at the ‘Institute of Media’ of the University of Idlib. The battalion also released the director of the ‘Institute of Media’ at the University of Idlib, Alaa al-Abdullah, who was arrested two days ago.
Around 150 internally displaced persons in Hafsa camp near Maarat al-Numaan got food poisoning after eating spoiled food distributed to them, allegedly by Ayaid al-Khair (‘Benevolent Hands Organization’). According to the reports, the poisoned individuals were transferred to Al-Ghadfa hospital and none of them are in serious condition.
Dozens of civilians left Al-Rukban refugee camp near the border between Jordan and Syria, towards areas under the control of the Syrian Arab Army, such as Al-Dumayr in Damascus governorate and rural areas of Homs governorate. Around 70 civilians belonging to Al-Fawara clan/tribe left the camp towards Palmyra, after a dispute with Bani Khaled clan/tribe. Reports suggest that more than 20 families leave the camp daily towards areas under the Syrian Arab Army, mainly due to poor conditions in the camp, as more than six months have passed since the last humanitarian aid shipment to the camp.
Syrian Arab Army and the Islamic State reportedly reached an agreement, regarding the latter’s evacuation from Al-Hajar al-Aswad and Al-Yarmouk camp in southern Damascus. Buses for the evacuation already arrived in Al-Zahra area near Al-Yarmouk, in order to evacuate Islamic State’s elements to the desertous area in Deir al-Zour and Homs governorates. However, the Syrian Arab News Agency denied reports about any agreement with the Islamic State and also stated that operations against the group continue in southern Damascus.

Islamic State-affiliated Jaysh Khalid ibn al-Walid repelled a Free Syrian Army and allies’ attack on Adwan village, northwest of Daraa. Amaq Agency stated that ten rebel fighters were killed and wounded when they entered a minefield at the outskirts of the village. Reports suggest that a rebel tank was also destroyed in the failed attack.
Afghan National Security Forces killed nine and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Chimtal district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed three elements of the Afghan Local Police in Chimtal district.
Afghan National Security Forces killed 20 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan on the highway between Baghlan and Kunduz provinces, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.
Afghan Local Police’s commander, Abdul Qayyum and two elements of the local police surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with their weapons in Kuf Ab district.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked an Afghan National Army’s post in Chaparhar district, killing one and wounding three soldiers.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s vehicle in Chaparhar district. The explosion wounded three elements of the Afghan National Army.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device wounded two elements of the Afghan National Army in the city of Pol-e Alam, capital of Logar Province.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device targeted a vehicle of the ‘National Directorate of Security’ and wounded one element of the directorate in the city of Khost.
Afghan National Security Forces killed 42 and arrested three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Ajristan and Khwaja Umari districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran the administration center of Ajristan district and the Afghan National Police’s headquarters in the district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News stated that the majority of the Afghan National Security Forces who were defending the center and the headquarters, surrendered to the group.
Afghan National Security Forces killed 39 and wounded 13 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed two camps and several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Chora and Khas Urozgan districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan launched a large-scale attack against the Afghan National Security Forces in Daychopan district, attacking the district’s administration center, a military base, and several checkpoints. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran three checkpoints in Norlak area of the district and partially destroyed the district’s administration center. According to the reports, 13 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces were killed and seven wounded, while five elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were wounded in the encounters.
Afghan National Police’s element defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Parchaw area of Jerashk district, handing over a PK machine gun and two assault rifles to the group.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device targeted a vehicle of the Afghan National Army’s commander, Abdullah in Waish area of Spin Boldak district. The explosion killed the commander and additional four elements of the army. Similarly, an Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored personnel carrier in Tawnchi area of Shah Wali Kot district.
