Aleppo:

Improvised explosive device wounded two civilians on a road towards the city of Al-Bab. Similarly, two civilians were wounded by a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device in the city of Qabasin.

Rebel “guerrilla” group Harakat al-Qiyam assassinated an element of the Syrian Democratic Forces in northern Aleppo region.

Damascus:

Last night, the United States, France, and the United Kingdom conducted a joint operation against several Syrian Arab Armed Forces’ sites. The joint forces launched around 110 missiles, reportedly targeting Al-Dumayr Military Airport, Mezzeh Military Airport, Al-Rahiba, Al-Liwa 105 (105th Brigade) of the Syrian Republican Guard, Al-kiswah, air defense site at Jabal Qasioun, scientific research center in Jamraya, Al-Liwa 41 (41st Brigade) of the Special Forces, and scientific research center in Barzeh. Syrian Arab Armed Forces’ General Command stated that Syrian Air Defense destroyed most of the missiles, however, the general command stated that scientific research center in Barzeh was destroyed by the missiles. The general command also stated that three civilians were wounded in Homs governorate when several of the missiles fell in the governorate.

General Command of the Syrian Arab Armed Forces issued a video statement announcing full control of the East Ghouta. The full control of the East Ghouta comes after Jaysh al-Islam’s elements and their families were evacuated from Douma to northern Aleppo.

Daraa:

Free Syrian Army’s factions in the city of Nawa formed Quwat Ahrar Nawa and joined Free Syrian Army’s Jaysh al-Thawra coalition. The newly-formed Quwat Ahrar Nawa consists of; Liwa Ahrar Nawa, Liwa Bani Umayya, Liwa al-Farouq, Liwa Omar al-Mukhtar, Liwa Ghaza Houran, Liwa Jund al-Islam, Liwa Ahmad al-Awad, Liwa Aswad al-Janoub, Liwa al-Nasr al-Mubin, Liwa Omar ibn al-Kattab, Liwa Muhammad al-Fatih, Al-Katibat al-Faniyah, and Firae al-Taslih Saraya al-Janoub.

Free Syrian Army’s military council in the city of Jasim released a statement saying that the council arrested several individuals, who are a part of a cell belonging to the Syrian Arab Army and Hezbollah. The council also stated that its elements seized a number of Grad rockets and large quantities of C-4. According to the council, the operation was conducted with the Free Syrian Army’s Jaysh al-Ababil, Tahaluf Thuwar al-Jaydour, and Liwa Fursan al-Ababil.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) attacked an Afghan Local Police’s checkpoint in Chichaktu area of Qaysar district. Five elements of the Afghan Local Police were wounded in the attack.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed a group of Afghan National Police’s elements in Qwch Kam area of Pastun Kot, reportedly killing one and wounding one policeman.

Kunduz Province:

Sar-e Pol Province:

Afghan Local Police’s commander Haji and 20 elements of the local police defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in the province.

Kapisa Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six and wounded six elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Nijrab district.

Nangarhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces arrested six elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Khogyani district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s sniper killed an element of the Afghan National Police in Ghani Khel district.

Herat Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed eight and wounded eight elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Chishti Sharif district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s element infiltrated an Afghan Local Police’s checkpoint and opened fire on the policemen present in the area. The infiltrator killed Afghan Local Police’s commander, Raz Muhammad and two other elements of the local police, before seizing a PK machine gun, an RPG launcher, and an assault rifle. The infiltrator linked up with the nearby Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s elements.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed one and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed two motorcycles and several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Andar district.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five and wounded eight elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Bala Buluk district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored vehicle in Bala Buluk district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked an Afghan National Army’s convoy in Dehaik area of the city of Farah. Seven elements of the Afghan National Army were reportedly killed and four wounded, as well as two armored vehicles destroyed in the ambush. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized a DShK heavy machine gun from the Afghan National Army.

Zabul Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked an Afghan National Army’s checkpoint in Kajir Khelo area of Shah Joy district, reportedly killing four and wounding four soldiers. Separately, Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed and killed three elements of the Afghan National Army in Shah Joy district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device killed three elements of the Afghan National Army in Kakarano area of the city of Qalat, capital of Zabul Province. Separately, Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s sniper killed an element of the Afghan National Army in Musa Khelo area of the city of Qalat.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed an element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Lashkar Gah district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers reportedly killed eight element of the Afghan National Army and Afghan National Police in Marjah and Nawa-I-Barakzayi districts.

Kandahar Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s sniper killed two elements of the Afghan National Army in Tawchi area of Miyanishin district.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now two strikes reports will be published each week, on Mondays and Fridays.
