Aleppo:

Free Syrian Army’s Al-Jabhat al-Shamiya (Levant Front) arrested six individuals, who opened fire on a group’s vehicle in Maabatli area and wounded several elements of the group. Al-Jabhat al-Shamiya’s head of media office, Rafat Junaid stated that there is no confirmation that the arrested individuals belong to the YPG, as the investigation is still ongoing.

Raqqa:

Syrian Democratic Forces arrested a smuggler in the city of Tell Abyad, north of Raqqa. The smuggler reportedly transferred 40 foreign fighters of the Islamic State from the eastern Deir al-Zour to Tell Abyad.

Idlib:

Unknown explosion targeted the vicinity of Al-Rahman mosque in Al-Nasim neighborhood of the city of Idlib. According to the reports, at least ten civilians were killed and more than 50 wounded by the explosion.

Homs:

Two Israeli Air Force’s F-15 warplanes reportedly targeted Syrian Arab Air Force’s Tiyas Military Airbase (T-4 Airbase) from Lebanon’s airspace last night. Syrian Arab News Agency stated that Syrian Air Defense destroyed five missiles, while the remaining missiles hit the airbase, causing casualties among the military personnel and damage to the airbase’s infrastructure. Reports suggest that at least 12 soldiers, including at least five elements of the IRGC were killed and more than 30 wounded by the targeting.

Damascus:

First batch of Jaysh al-Islam’s elements and their families started evacuating from Douma in the East Ghouta through Al-Wafideen camp to Jarabulus. Syrian Arab News Agency stated that 31 buses evacuated fighters and their families, without giving the exact numbers. Jaysh al-Islam released two batches of detainees from its prisons in Douma, as part of the evacuation deal.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed four and wounded seven elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Kohistan district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked Afghan National Police’s positions in Aq Guzra area of Qaramqol district, reportedly destroying a vehicle, as well as killing four policemen, including commander Mehrab, and wounding another four policemen.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s sniper killed an element of the Afghan National Army in Dasht area of Khaja Sahib Posh (Juma Bazar) district.

Afghan National Army’s element defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Sayad area of Khaibar district.

Nangarhar Province:

Paktia Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six and arrested ten elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Zurmat district.

Badghis Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked an Afghan National Army’s checkpoints in Khair Khana area of Qadis district. Afghan National Army’s commander Geriftar and two elements of the army were killed, while four elements were wounded in the attack.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed four and wounded seven elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed three motorcycles and an IED factory in Bala Buluk district. Two Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive devices targeted an Afghan National Security Forces’ convoy in Ganj Abad area of Bala Buluk district, killing three elements.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six and wounded eight elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Khas Urozgan district. One of the six killed elements is the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s deputy governor of Urozgan Province, Abdullah.

Zabul Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Shah Joy district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored personnel carrier with an RPG in Tazi area of Shah Joy district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored personnel carrier in Bakorzo area of the city of Qalat, capital of Zabul Province.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed nine and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a vehicle in Nad Ali and Jerashk districts. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan destroyed five Afghan National Army’s armored personnel carriers in Shawal Bazar area of Nad Ali district, reportedly killing and wounding several soldiers. Two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were killed in the encounter.

Kandahar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 13, wounded 11, and arrested 15 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a base and several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Shah Wali Kot district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed and killed Afghan National Army’s commander, Abdul Wahab in the 1st Police District of the city of Kandahar.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s vehicle in Sro Chahano area of Shorabak district. Similarly, an Afghan National Army’s armored personnel carrier was destroyed by an improvised explosive device in Khawgyano area of Maruf district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s sniper killed two elements of the Afghan National Army in Khowgo Obo area of Spin Boldak district.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now two strikes reports will be published each week, on Mondays and Fridays.
