Aleppo:

Yesterday’s claims about the Free Syrian Army and Turkish Armed Forces capturing Tell Rifaat in northern Aleppo, turned out to be false, as the locality is still under the joint control of the YPG and National Defense Forces. Several reports suggest that the negotiations regarding Tell Rifaat are still ongoing between Turkey and Russia.

Jabhat Tahrir Suriya (Ahrar al-Sham and Harakat Nour al-Deen al-Zenki) fully captured Bisrtoun village in western Aleppo from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham. The two sides also clashed around Shamiku and Khan al-Assal.

Idlib:

Russian Air Force conducted air raids over Al-Naqir and Al-Qasabiyah, while the Syrian Arab Army’s artillery shelled Bidama. According to the Syrian Civil Defense (The White Helmets), three civilians were killed by the air raids over Al-Naqir and one civilian killed by the shelling of Bidama.

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham repelled Jabhat Tahrir Suriya-affiliated Suqour al-Sham’s attacks on Masaibin, Majdalia, and Ariha.

Damascus:

Fifth batch of Faylaq al-Rahman’s elements and their families were evacuated from Arbeen in the East Ghouta to Idlib. Syrian Arab News Agency stated that 4108 individuals, including 1017 fighters were evacuated today. Syrian Arab News Agency also stated that 6432 individuals, including 1521 fighters were evacuated in total yesterday.

Demonstrations were held against Jaysh al-Islam in the city of Douma in the East Ghouta. The demonstrators demanded peaceful solution for the city and rejected any military solution, also calling on Jaysh al-Islam to not decide the fate of their city.

Free Syrian Army’s Jaysh Tahrir al-Sham launched an attack on the Syrian Arab Army’s positions near Al-Mahasa area of the Eastern Qalamoun region. Jaysh Tahrir al-Sham stated on its telegram that several elements of the Syrian Arab Army were killed and wounded, as well as a BMP and a 23 mm machine gun destroyed in the attack.

Daraa:

Second day in a row, demonstrations were held in Inkhil, demanding that Hayat Tahrir al-Sham evacuates its headquarters and exits the locality. The demonstrators rejected any military actions on and from the locality, which would cause destruction and displacement of civilians.

Al-Suwayda:

Raed Baraka militia clashed with Laith al-Balus militia, after the latter attacked former’s commander’s house. One element of Laith al-Balus and two elements of Raed Baraka were wounded in the clashes. Laith al-Balus attacked Raed Baraka’s commander, due to the latter allegedly leaking security information about the militia to the Military Security Branch of the Syrian government. Laith al-Balus also accused Raed Baraka of kidnapping a trader in Al-Suwayda two days ago.

Iraq

Erbil:

Islamic State clashed with Al-Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Units) near the village of Kneus, southwest of Makhmour. According to the Islamic State’s Amaq Agency, ten elements of Al-Hashd al-Shaabi were killed and wounded in the clashes.

Baghdad:

Iraqi Security Forces conducted operations in Kilo 5 area, south of Baghdad. Security forces found 18 different mortar rounds and six different artillery shells. Several wanted individuals were also arrested in the operations.

Afghanistan

Jowzjan Province:

Islamic State ambushed and killed Afghan Local Police’s commander and two elements of the local police in the province.

Balkh Province:

Afghan National Security Forces arrested four individuals suspected of belonging to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Chimtal district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan stated that an element of the Afghan Local Police was killed and two wounded in Chimtal district.

Kunduz Province:

Kabul Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed four elements of the Afghan National Army and destroyed a vehicle, during clashes between the two in Surobi district.

Nangarhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three and wounded one element of the Islamic State in Deh Bala (Haska Meyna) district. The three killed elements were reportedly from Uzbekistan.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan assassinated Afghan National Police’s district chief of Khaiwa, Matiullah Safi in Darai Nur district. Three Safi’s guards were wounded in the encounter.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device targeted Afghan National Army’s tank in Khogyani district, reportedly killing three and wounding four soldiers.

Two elements of the Afghan Local Police surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Spin Ghar district.

Maidan Wardak Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device killed one and wounded two elements of the Afghan National Army in Jalga district.

Khost Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device killed three Afghan National Army’s soldiers in Sabari district.

Herat Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed two and wounded three elements of the Afghan Local Police, during clashes between the two in Dah Aman area of Shindand district. Separately, Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked Afghan National Security Forces’ supply convoy on Herat – Kandahar highway in Aziz Abad area of Shindand district, reportedly destroying two fuel tankers and wounding two elements.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan arrested Afghan National Army’s commander, Muhammad Yeaqub in Nayak area of Obe district.

Ghazni Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s sniper killed an element of the Afghan National Police in the city of Ghazni.

Paktika Province:

Afghan Local Police’s element defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Yusuf Khel district.

Farah Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan repelled Afghan National Security Forces’ offensive in Seya Zangle area of Bala Buluk district, reportedly killing 14 and wounding seven elements. Two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were killed in the encounter.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device targeted Afghan National Army’s foot patrol in Masood Dorahi area of Pusht Rod district, killing five soldiers.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 22 and wounded ten elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed three bases and defused 17 improvised explosive devices in Khas Urozgan and Tarinkot districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran four checkpoints and a military base of the Afghan National Army and Afghan National Police in Shishpar and Chahar Asia areas of Khas Urozgan districts.

Zabul Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two and wounded 11 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed two vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices in Arghandab and Shah Joy districts.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed four fighting positions, a vehicle, and several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Marjah and Nad Ali districts.
